Farmer-Mentor Workshop

Second Annual Farmer-Mentor Circle Workshop

"The Art of Mentoring Apprentices"

February 12-14, 2010

Hawthorne Valley Farm, Harlemville, NY

Do you have an apprenticeship program on your farm? Are you thinking about developing one? Join us for an exciting weekend of learning and fellowship as we explore the art of teaching on the farm, hear about successful apprenticeship programs, and develop a stronger network of farmer-mentor peers. Miranda Smith, editor of the New England Small Farms Institute's "On-Farm Mentor's Guide," will keynote, and we will be joined by educational consultant Leonore Russell, Trauger Groh, Mac Mead, Steffen Schneider, and Robert Karp.
